Replacement Velcon SO Series SO-636V5 Aviation Fuel Separator Cartridge

Meitong Replacement Velcon SO Series Aviation Fuel Separator Cartridges are designed as second-stage water separator elements for aviation fuel filter/separator vessels.

Installed downstream of coalescer cartridges, SO Series separators provide the final stage of water removal by repelling coalesced water droplets while allowing hydrocarbon fuels to pass through.

During fuel filtration, the first-stage coalescer cartridge removes solid contaminants and combines small water droplets into larger droplets. The SO Series separator cartridge then prevents these separated water droplets from passing downstream, allowing them to settle into the filter/separator vessel sump for drainage.

Unlike coalescer cartridges, separator elements do not perform particle filtration. All particulate removal is completed by the first-stage coalescer element.
