Description

Meitong Replacement Velcon SI Series Canister Separator Cartridges are specially designed separator elements for military and high-performance aviation fuel filtration systems.

The SI Series features a canister-style separator design with PTFE-coated hydrophobic screen technology. It is installed around first-stage coalescer elements in military filter/separator vessels to provide additional protection against water contamination.

The separator canister repels water droplets while allowing clean aviation fuel to pass through. Separated water collects at the bottom of the vessel and is removed through the drainage system.

Bayonet Mount with Wavy Spring: Features a positive bayonet locking mechanism and heavy-duty wavy spring that withstands severe vibration, pressure surges, and high flow velocity without risking bypass leakage.

Annular Coalescing-Separation Zone: Fluid exiting the inner coalescer enters the narrow annular gap between the coalescer OD and SI canister ID, accelerating water droplet growth and rapid gravity settling.

Severe Duty Media: Internal 200-mesh PTFE-coated stainless steel screen (140 Micron nominal), fully qualified to EI 1581 6th Edition Category M & M100 for fuels containing anti-icing additives (Di-EGME / JP-8 / F-34).
