Description

Parker HST Separator Cartridge is a high-performance Teflon treated separator filter element designed for removing free water from hydrocarbon fuels after the coalescing stage. Installed as the second-stage element in filter separator vessels, HST cartridges provide excellent hydrophobic performance by repelling water droplets while allowing clean fuel to pass through.

The HST series is commonly used together with Parker HOCP/HCP coalescer cartridges to achieve efficient fuel-water separation, protecting downstream equipment from water contamination, corrosion, and operational failures.

During fuel filtration, the first-stage coalescer cartridge separates and combines small water droplets into larger droplets. The Parker HST separator cartridge acts as the final separation barrier, preventing coalesced water from passing downstream.

The Teflon-treated hydrophobic media surface allows: Hydrocarbon fuel to flow through easily; Water droplets to be repelled and separated; Free water to collect in the separator vessel sump. This design ensures reliable fuel quality for critical applications including aviation fueling, marine fuel systems, diesel storage, and industrial fuel handling.
