Description

The Meitong Replacement VoTech DuoToV

The Meitong Replacement VoTech DuoToV 90/736 (7.11) Coalescing Filter Element is designed for the efficient removal of solid particles, liquid aerosols, and condensates from natural gas and other industrial gas streams.

Featuring an integrated multilayer pleated pre-filter and high-efficiency fiberglass coalescing media, this filter element combines particle filtration and liquid separation in a single cartridge. The pleated pre-filter captures solid contaminants before they reach the coalescing layer, helping to reduce premature clogging, maintain a low differential pressure, and extend filter service life. The coalescing media captures fine liquid droplets, allowing them to merge into larger droplets for subsequent separation by gravity within the filter separator vessel.

Manufactured by Meitong Filtration as an aftermarket replacement for the VoTech DuoToV 90/736 (7.11) , this element provides a cost-effective filtration solution for natural gas processing, transmission, and industrial gas applications.

Working principle

Natural gas coalescing filter elements are designed to remove fine solid particles and liquid aerosols, such as oil and water, from the gas stream. As the gas passes through the multi-layer fibrous filter media, contaminants are captured through inertial impaction, direct interception, and diffusion. Fine liquid droplets gradually combine into larger droplets through the coalescence process. These enlarged droplets are then separated from the gas stream and collected at the bottom of the filter housing by gravity, allowing clean, dry gas to flow downstream.
