Description
The PFS1001ZMH13 replacement coalescing filter element is designed for high-efficiency aerosol and liquid removal from compressed gas and process gas streams. It is engineered as a compatible replacement for the Pall PFS1001ZM / PFS1001ZMH series, providing efficient removal of hydrocarbon aerosols, water mist and other liquid contaminants from gaseous streams.
The coalescing element uses a high-area pleated, specially treated epoxy-coated fiberglass medium, combined with non-woven polymeric support and drainage layers. The multi-layer construction promotes efficient aerosol capture and coalescence while maintaining a low saturated pressure drop.
The coalesced liquid is converted into larger droplets and drained by gravity toward the filter housing sump, helping prevent liquid carryover, downstream contamination and re-entrainment. The original ZM series is designed for critical gas filtration applications requiring high aerosol removal efficiency and is described by Pall as a “Zero Mist” coalescing technology.
Our PFS1001ZMH13 replacement filter element can be manufactured to match the original element's dimensions, sealing configuration, filtration media and operating requirements, subject to technical confirmation from the original cartridge or drawing.

External Polymeric Drainage Layer: High-efficiency polymeric outer drainage layer facilitates rapid gravity drainage of coalesced liquid droplets and prevents liquid re-entrainment into the clean gas stream.
Robust 304 Stainless Steel Hardware: Built for demanding operating conditions, featuring a 304 SS perforated inner support core, outer support cage, and end caps to maximize structural integrity, withstand pressure differentials up to 50 psid (3.4bar), provide liquid-slug protection, and prevent contaminant bypass.
Positive Seal (Nitrile / H13): Equipped with high-integrity Nitrile flat gasket or O-ring seals (H13 specification) to eliminate fluid bypass and ensure reliable sealing under maximum operating temperatures up to 140F(60).
Multi-Layer Media Construction: The primary pleated fiberglass media is enveloped by nonwoven polymer support and drainage layers, delivering unsurpassed separation efficiency across varying flow conditions.
