Selecting a JPMP2520 replacement starts with the installed cartridge, rather than the model prefix alone. A 20-inch polypropylene filter may share a nominal length with another element while using a different sealing arrangement, end adapter or support structure.

Our JPMP2520 replacement cartridge offering is intended for compatible liquid filtration duties requiring pleated PP media. The selection process focuses on the details that determine fit and filtration performance: overall dimensions, open-end geometry, gasket contact surfaces and the required particle-removal grade.

Double-open-end cartridges and O-ring-connected elements seal differently inside a housing. A filter with the wrong end configuration can allow liquid to bypass the media even when its nominal dimensions appear suitable.
